Beautiful area, clean resort, weather was warm and wonderful

Location was beautiful, resort was clean. Evening shows were enjoyable. Ice cream shop was a favorite. Drinks were good too!

Food was just ok. Reservations for restaurants were very difficult to get. Our view from our room was of some shed like building. Pool beach towels were very hard to get. Had some difficulty communicating with staff.

Hotel has beautiful grounds and is well maintained. Most of the staff are great

Hotel doesn’t manage the mosquito problem which can ruin your stay. Also, some basic things (like clean towel exchange) are not managed well.

Enjoyed our 5-day stay.

Nice property, well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Enjoyed the food at the buffet, especially breakfast. Staff at the bars and buffet are nice, so is the Animation Crew. Do catch the nightly shows, if you get the chance. The woman working at the pastry shop is great. Great service with a big smile! Housekeeping also did a good job everyday and made sure everything was restocked and replenished.

The Brazilian (Fogo) and the Dominican (El Pilon) Restaurants on-site were the only things I did not like about my stay. The food at Fogo was overcooked and dry. El Pilon was very disappointing. Expected some Dominican style food items (like they have regularly at the main buffet) but this was nothing like it and just plain bad. We waited very long for someone to take our order, food was bad. Bad flavor, bad presentation and almost cold. We did not wait for dessert.

A few issues away from being great

Clean, spacious room located close to the pool/ocean (room 3006). Great bar staff below the beach rooftop bar. They need more than one blender to be more efficient, but they manage well. I loved the grounds, with large birds roaming freely. My room was ready when I arrived early. I enjoyed the jazz lounge music, during breakfast in the buffet restaurant. The pistachio ice-cream with a mix of rum & raisin - was a scoop of heaven. The grilled pork in the buffet restaurant was so good, I forgot it was pork. And the banana cake slices were amazing.

The food could be vastly improved. Restaurant bookings were fully booked until two days into my trip. The Dominican restaurant was terrible. Oxtail in beer, should be illegal. Even the plantain was bad. Much larger tea cups would make better sense. Beach towels were often unavailable and I had to wait for them to be cleaned and returned, even at 10am.Toilet paper in the bedrooms need upgrading. The paper in the rooftop bar is better quality. There was nowhere to put my suitcase in my room but on the floor. My room wasn't cleaned until 3/4pm each day, which is around the time you want to relax before dinner. I would have appreciated a tissue box. The only tissue available was toilet paper. There's no toilet brush in the toilet and only one (ugly) bin.The white bedside lamp shade was full of rust. Hot water wasn't available throughout the day- only morning and evening. Reception staff could be friendlier and more informative at check in. My checkout was, towel key? Thanks. Bye! Generally, a nice hotel, but I wouldn't stay again.

Enjoyable short trip over six days to have a beach vacation with amazing white sand and blue waters

The location and the beach are very enjoyable and the facilities are well maintained; the three pools offer plenty of options also for the youngest ones; beach is cleaned up every day and freed from sea weed

the service can be poor sometimes especially in the restaurants is a long waiting time; the choice and quality of food is poor and should be improved significantly

The best location along the stretch of beach. Lovely property, well kept grounds, Nice decor. Enough beach, chairs, and shade for guests to enjoy the beach, along with a volleyball net and soccer goals and access to equipment. Good service at the buffet, flexible hours, teen area with games and activities. Clean, well kept pools.

The food was so-so, whether it was buffet or restaurants. The beds and pillows were not comfortable and there were lower, quality linens used. Room service, and refreshing the room. Each day was inconsistent.

Good resort, but staff service is poor

The hotel is beautiful, and has a lot of facilities. The buildings and rooms were in good conditions

The service in the restaurants is not good. It looks like it is the usual in Dominican Republic. Waiters are not kind, and staff overall feels rude. My perception is that they look for people who could potentially give them money/tips to provide a proper service, if they don't feel like the person is going to tip, they don't really care about you.

Excellent stay. Second time, hoping that next time will have benefits for regular customers

The property premises are beautiful and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel amenities and room cleanliness are outstanding.

The beach sellers are extremely obnoxious and pesky. Their insistence on scamming tourists is indeed overwhelming. The hotel management must take this issue seriously because it negatively affects visitor’s comfort and peace.

Absolutely fantastic time and experience.

Loved the atmosphere of the place, everything is well looked after and maintained and the beach is beautiful. There are plenty of attractions and things to do at the property and the service was phenomenal.

The only note we have to point out is that upon our arrival, it wasn’t well explained by the receptionist how the dinner situation worked. The resort has a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner but on some specific days, the buffet doesn’t open for dinner and you have to reserve a restaurant of your choice (there’s asian, italian, brazilian, dominican and mexican) and these are included as part of your stay. The communication here is a negative point because we weren’t told that the buffet wasn’t open on some specific days and you run the risk of not being able to book one of the restaurants as there are limited spaces. Other than that, the restaurants are great and an amazing experience and well worth to try the different cuisines (we absolutely loved the mexican and asian restaurants).

Absolutely amazing and I’d definitely go back!

The property is absolutely beautiful. I loved how they preserved most of the vegetation and natural water features such as ponds around the resort. There’s a wide variety of animals such as iguanas, turtles, peacocks, ducks and flamingos. Staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The entire property is very clean which is always a plus for me

The food was a bit hit or miss at times but it wasn’t horrible. I enjoyed their desserts and some of the meal options

Beautiful cozy and good value

It is beautiful! Modern and cozy at the same time. Staff is super nice and food is good. Also is not a huge property so my mom (82) did not have to walk a lot to go anywhere beach pool buffet or restaurants. I think is a very good hotel at an excellent price. The beach is wide open and clean, it really is a paradise!
